Fano 'Andinet' Operation Sparks Clashes in East Gojjam
The Amhara Fano National Movement launched a coordinated offensive across the Amhara region starting March 19, 2026. In East Gojjam, heavy fighting and federal drone strikes resulted in the displacement of 11,000 civilians from rural woredas toward urban centers under ENDF control.
