RSF Shelling of Dilling in South Kordofan Kills 14 Civilians
Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and allied militias launched a heavy artillery assault on residential areas in the city of Dilling, South Kordofan, on March 29, 2026. According to the Sudan Doctors Network, the shelling killed at least 14 people, including children, and struck civilian infrastructure. Simultaneously, the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) claimed to have repelled the ground assault, destroying 36 RSF vehicles. The RSF countered with claims of victory in Northern Kordofan and the Blue Nile region.
