Sennar State Fighting Displaces Civilians from Singa
Clashes between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the RSF in Sennar State have resulted in the displacement of 11,200 civilians from the city of Singa. The International Organization for Migration (IOM) Displacement Tracking Matrix recorded the movement of people toward Blue Nile State and Gedaref. The fighting erupted over control of vital road junctions. Displaced families described harrowing journeys through bushland to avoid active combat zones. Most are currently in need of urgent food and shelter assistance.
