Malian Convoy Ambushed Near Gao
A Malian military supply convoy was ambushed by militants suspected to be affiliated with JNIM near the city of Gao. The attackers used improvised explosive devices (IEDs) followed by small arms fire. Fifteen Malian soldiers were confirmed killed and three vehicles were destroyed in the assault.
