Rapidly escalating hostilities along Yemen’s western coast forced civilians to flee across the Gulf of Aden. UNHCR reported that over a four-day period, more than 2,400 people—over 60 percent of whom were women, children, and older people—were displaced and sought safety in neighboring Djibouti.
