3,315 Displaced in Single Day from Geisan Locality, Blue Nile State

On September 7, 2026, worsening insecurity caused the displacement of 3,315 people (663 families) from several villages in the Geisan locality of southeastern Sudan's Blue Nile state. The IOM recorded the displacement from villages including Abu Shneina, Rabaa, and Wadi Arab.
