US military conducts strikes on Iranian air defense and maritime infrastructure
The United States military executed a series of strikes targeting Iranian military infrastructure, including air defense systems, radar facilities, and maritime assets. These actions, which occurred following a month-long lull in direct hostilities, were aimed at degrading Iranian capabilities near the Strait of Hormuz. Tehran reported that 18 people were killed and 142 injured in the latest round of US strikes, which have triggered retaliatory attacks across the Gulf region.
