Moscow airports suspend operations due to drone threats

Moscow's Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo airports cancelled all arrivals and departures for the second consecutive night on September 2-3. The closures were implemented following threats from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to make Russian airspace completely unsafe. This disruption is part of an ongoing campaign of long-range strikes and aerial threats targeting Russian infrastructure and military assets deep within the Russian Federation.
