Sudanese Air Attack Destroys Humanitarian Food Aid in South Kordofan
A Sudanese military air strike destroyed a significant cache of food aid in South Kordofan on September 2, 2026. The World Food Programme (WFP) condemned the attack, stating that humanitarian operations and aid workers must be protected under international law. The region, which has a large Christian population and was previously a safe haven for refugees, is now facing intense violence as the civil war between the SAF and RSF enters its fourth year.
