Yemeni forces intercept Houthi explosive-laden boats near Hanish Islands
Naval units of Yemen's National Resistance Forces intercepted and destroyed four Houthi remotely operated explosive boats in the southern Red Sea. The vessels were attempting to approach the strategic Hanish and Zuqar islands, which overlook international shipping lanes. Separately, government forces seized a dhow carrying advanced Iranian-made drone components and precision electronics. The interceptions occur amid heightened Houthi attempts to secure coastal positions near the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
