Ukrainian drones strike Kirishi oil refinery in Leningrad Oblast
Ukrainian long-range drones targeted the Kirishi Petroleum Organic Synthesis (Kinef) plant, one of Russia’s largest refineries, causing a major fire early on August 30. Simultaneously, explosions were reported at an airbase in Yeysk and a logistics warehouse in Rostov-on-Don. These strikes are part of Kyiv's intensified deep rear campaign intended to erode Russian fuel production, which has reportedly dropped to 70% of domestic consumption levels this month.
