Taiwan detects 20 PLA aircraft and naval vessels operating in ADIZ

Taiwan's Ministry of National Defence reported the detection of five People's Liberation Army (PLA) aircraft sorties, eight People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) vessels, and seven official Chinese ships operating around the island as of 6:00 a.m. local time. Three PLA aircraft reportedly entered the northern and eastern sectors of Taiwan’s Air Defence Identification Zone (ADIZ). Taiwan’s military monitored the situation using naval vessels and coastal-based missile systems, responding to what Taipei describes as continued gray-zone harassment.
