Taiwan Tracks PLA Naval Flotilla and Northern ADIZ Aerial Incursion
Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense (MND) reported the detection of nine PLA naval vessels, seven official ships, and one military helicopter operating near the island between 06:00 Sunday and 06:00 Monday. The PLA helicopter specifically breached the northern Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ). This "gray zone" activity coincides with a Chinese-Indonesian joint naval navigation exercise east of Taiwan, which Taipei's Mainland Affairs Council (MAC) condemned as a provocative attempt to normalize Beijing's jurisdiction over international waters in the Western Pacific.
