Resistance Forces Kill 50 Junta Troops in Major Magway Region Clashes
Myanmar's Myaing Township People's Defense Organization reported killing at least 50 junta soldiers during a series of over 30 coordinated clashes across the Magway Region. The fighting involved a military column of approximately 500 troops that has been operating in the area since May. Separately, the Myanmar military launched airstrikes in northern Shan State's Kutkai Township, targeting areas held by the SSPP/SSA. Humanitarian agencies report that total displacement from the post-2021 conflict has reached 1.3 million people.
