Zelenskyy Warns Egypt of Food Supply Crisis Amid Black Sea Strikes
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy informed Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi that food supplies to Africa are under critical threat due to Russian naval attacks on cargo vessels. Zelenskyy noted a significant reduction in grain exports following Russia’s intensified targeting of civilian shipping corridors. Russia’s Foreign Ministry dismissed calls for a Black Sea ceasefire, stating there are no grounds for "half-measures" and accusing Kyiv of using the maritime zone to facilitate military logistics rather than civilian trade.
