Ukraine strikes Russian petrochemical plant deep inside Russia
Ukrainian forces conducted a long-range strike against a Russian petrochemical plant located more than 2,000 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. The operation is part of an ongoing campaign by Kyiv to target Russia's oil and energy infrastructure to disrupt the funding of the war effort. Russian authorities claimed that their air defenses intercepted 456 Ukrainian drones overnight, though the strike on the facility was confirmed by the Ukrainian General Staff.
