Mass missile and drone attack damages Odesa seaport infrastructure
Russian forces launched "dozens of missiles and drones" at the Black Sea port of Odesa, causing significant damage to port infrastructure and wounding at least 12 people. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the attack specifically targeted grain export facilities, characterizing it as an act of war against global food security. Local residents reported the most intense bombardment of the port area since the summer offensive began, as Russia attempts to sever Ukraine's maritime agricultural corridors.
