Israeli Forces Strike Gaza Displacement Tents in Ceasefire Violation
On August 8, 2026, Israeli occupation forces killed three Palestinians and wounded at least nine others, including four children, during separate attacks across the Gaza Strip. Despite the October 2025 ceasefire, Israeli tanks opened fire on tents sheltering displaced families in the Al-Shakoush area northwest of Rafah and the Deir al-Balah region. UN agencies expressed concern over the persistent violations, which have killed over 1,200 Palestinians since the formal truce began.
