RSF Reinforcements Launch Attacks on Civilians in West Kordofan
The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have reportedly committed widespread abuses against civilians in the El Nahud region of West Kordofan after deploying significant reinforcements to the area. Reports indicate extrajudicial killings and displacement as the paramilitary group attempts to consolidate control over the province. These developments coincide with a broader surge in RSF activity across central and western Sudan, despite ongoing international pressure for a humanitarian truce and the protection of non-combatants.
