Ukraine Targets Syzran Oil Refinery and Wildberries Logistics Hubs
Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces conducted a wave of strikes against Russian economic and logistics infrastructure on August 4, 2026. Drones reportedly hit the Syzran oil refinery in Samara, causing a significant fire, and targeted Wildberries logistics hubs in Chekhov (Moscow region) and St. Petersburg. Ukrainian officials state these hubs are targeted for providing goods to the Russian military. This campaign follows a series of 15 similar attacks on online marketplace warehouses in the past 18 days.
