Tanker Struck in Strait of Hormuz Following New Iranian Drone Attacks on Kuwait
A commercial tanker was struck by a drone in the Strait of Hormuz, coinciding with a wave of Iranian drone attacks directed at Kuwait. U.S. President Donald Trump warned of severe retaliatory strikes against Tehran, accusing Iran of violating the recent maritime security memorandum of understanding. The incident led to immediate travel warnings for the region and disrupted commercial shipping through the strategic waterway. No casualties have been confirmed by maritime authorities or the vessel's crew at this time.
