Ukrainian Drone Strike Hits Major Oil Refineries in Bashkortostan
Ukrainian long-range drones targeted oil refineries in Ufa, Bashkortostan, early on August 1, 2026, sparking multiple fires at one of Russia's largest lubricant production hubs. The facility is located approximately 1,300 kilometers from the front line. While Russian defense officials claimed to have intercepted 274 drones across 16 regions overnight, footage confirmed significant damage to industrial infrastructure in Ufa, aimed at degrading Moscow's logistical and economic capacity to sustain the war.
