Ukrainian SBU drones strike Lukoil oil refinery in Perm, Russia

Long-range drones operated by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) successfully targeted a Lukoil oil refinery in Perm, Russia, on July 29, 2026. The facility is located approximately 1,500 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, marking one of the deepest strikes into Russian territory to date. The operation is part of an ongoing Ukrainian campaign to degrade Russia's oil refining capacity and export revenue. Fires were reported at the facility with damage assessments still ongoing.
