Taiwan Tracks 12 PLA Aircraft and 7 Naval Vessels Around Island
The Ministry of National Defense of Taiwan tracked 12 Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) aircraft and seven naval vessels operating around the island between 6 a.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2026. Ten of the aircraft crossed the Taiwan Strait median line, entering Taiwan's northern and eastern air defense identification zones (ADIZ). Taiwan responded by deploying aircraft, naval ships, and coastal-based missile systems to monitor the gray-zone military activity.
