Israeli Forces Demolish Homes in Southern Lebanon Operations
Israeli military forces burned and demolished multiple homes in the Lebanese border town of Bint Jbeil on July 25, 2026. The operations occurred while US-sponsored negotiations for a proposed framework agreement continued in Beirut. Large-scale explosions were reported throughout southern Lebanon, and some residents in Zawtar al-Gharbiya attempted to return to their properties under Lebanese army protection. The escalation persists despite ongoing diplomatic efforts to stabilize the Blue Line and prevent full-scale regional war.
