Sudanese Army Reports Battlefield Gains Against RSF in Kordofan and Darfur

Sudanese Defense Minister Hassan Dawoud Kabroun announced on July 23 that the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) have secured significant battlefield victories against the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). The gains were reported in the Kordofan, Blue Nile, and Darfur regions, where the SAF claims to have inflicted heavy losses on paramilitary units. The army has also moved reinforcements to the Sahara desert tri-border area to intercept RSF supply routes from Libya, aiming to consolidate control ahead of Army Day on August 14.
