Forced Evacuations from Active Combat Zones in Donetsk
Amid active Russian advances and intensified front-line shelling, Ukrainian authorities have forced the evacuation of families from active combat communities in the Donetsk region. Since early July, roughly 7,800 residents, including 1,100 children, from Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, and Novodonetsk have been evacuated to safer transit centers in Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk. Regional officials continue to facilitate the departures despite widespread destruction of energy infrastructure.
