Kenyan Police Ban and Crack Down on Saba Saba Protest
Kenyan police banned an annual Saba Saba day march planned by the Economic Justice Movement in Nairobi. Demonstrating a continued zero-tolerance policy against civil unrest, authorities deployed plainclothes officers and unmarked vehicles to forcibly disperse and arrest the few protesters who attempted to assemble.
