U.S. Naval Forces Seize Three Iranian Tankers in Persian Gulf Blockade
As part of the ongoing economic phase of Operation Epic Fury, U.S. naval forces operating in the Persian Gulf seized three oil tankers attempting to violate the maritime blockade on Iranian ports. U.S. Central Command confirmed that the USS George H.W. Bush remains postured in the Indian Ocean to support these enforcement operations. The seizures aim to maintain economic pressure on the Iranian regime following the transition to new leadership under Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei.
