Hamas Government in Gaza Announces Dissolution of Emergency Committee
The Hamas-led administration in the Gaza Strip, known as the Emergency Committee, officially announced its resignation on Monday to facilitate a transfer of authority to a technocratic National Committee for the Administration of Gaza. Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem framed the decision as a political shift to remove justifications for continued military operations.
