Massive Russian drone and artillery attack on Kherson region
On July 2, 2026, Russian troops launched a heavy bombardment using artillery and drones on liberated communities in the Kherson region. The shelling damaged residential neighborhoods and infrastructure, killing three civilians and injuring 45. In response to the persistent danger, 13 residents were evacuated to safer locations over the past day.
