IDF Egoz Unit Neutralizes Hezbollah Operative in Southern Lebanon Tunnel Raid
The Israeli Defense Forces' elite Egoz Unit killed a Hezbollah militant during a targeted operation in the Ali al-Taher region of southern Lebanon. The militant was reportedly intercepted after emerging from an underground tunnel system used by the group for clandestine movements. The incident marks a continuation of high-intensity border skirmishes and tactical raids as Israel aims to degrade Hezbollah's subterranean infrastructure, which remains a primary focus of current Israeli military operations in the northern theater.
