Massive "White Ribbon March" Protests Corruption in the Philippines
An estimated 10,000 citizens mobilized at the EDSA People Power Monument in Quezon City for the "White Ribbon March." Led by the Interreligious Leaders Council for National Transformation, the mass protest demanded an end to corruption, stricter electoral reforms, and the passing of a genuine anti-dynasty bill. Heavy police deployment was ordered to secure the demonstration.
