RSF assault on five villages in North Darfur displaces civilians

Worsening insecurity and escalated attacks by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on the villages of Shatmarta, Sangari, Goz Laban, Dal Barida, and Khair Wajid in the Umbro locality forced residents to flee to other areas or cross into neighboring Chad. According to a statement by the IOM reported by Anadolu Agency, 1,430 people were newly displaced in this single day of violence.
