Zelensky Approves SBU Plan for 40-Day Influence Operation Against Russia
On June 25, 2026, President Volodymyr Zelensky officially approved a proposal from the State Security Service (SBU) to launch a 40-day 'influence operation' aimed at pressuring Russia to conclude the war. The operation will leverage long-range strikes against logistics and energy infrastructure, following recent successes hitting the Moscow Oil Refinery. Zelensky praised the SBU's Alpha unit for its performance in degrading Russian personnel and equipment capabilities across the front lines.
