US Formally Announces Conclusion of Operation Epic Fury in Iran
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced on May 10 that Operation Epic Fury, a major military campaign against Iranian security apparatuses and nuclear infrastructure since February 2026, has officially concluded. Rubio stated that objectives to dismantle the regime's immediate threats were met. The US will now pivot to a 'peaceful resolution' and diplomatic stabilization in the Middle East, though the naval blockade of Iranian ports will remain in force.
