Israeli Strike in Bureij Refugee Camp Kills Al Jazeera Photojournalist
Israeli forces conducted a targeted strike on a residence in the Bureij refugee camp, Gaza, killing Al Jazeera photojournalist Ahmed Wisha and two others on June 22. The strike occurred amid ongoing skirmishes and reported ceasefire violations. Health authorities in Gaza confirmed the casualties, noting a total of 12 Al Jazeera journalists killed since late 2023.
