UK, Australia, and Canada Launch International Peace Fund for Israel-Palestine
Foreign ministers from the UK, Australia, and Canada jointly announced the creation of an International Peace Fund during a summit at Chevening on June 11, 2026. Each nation committed £1 million annually to support grassroots peacebuilding initiatives and civil society organizations in Israel and Palestine. The fund is intended to address the root causes of the conflict and support a sustainable two-state solution, complementing the ongoing U.S.-brokered 20-point Gaza peace plan.
