Displacement following armed clashes in the municipality of Port-au-Prince
Following armed clashes triggered by escalating gang violence in several neighborhoods of Port-au-Prince (including Village de Dieu and Cité de l'Éternel) between June 1 and 4, 2026, 5,054 individuals were displaced. The displaced persons settled in existing sites or sought refuge with host families.
