CENTCOM Downes Iranian Drones Targeting US Forces in Kuwait
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed its air defenses successfully intercepted a wave of Iranian one-way attack drones targeting American personnel in Kuwait early on June 3, 2026. This follow-up attack came after Iranian missiles hit Kuwait International Airport's Terminal 1, causing structural damage and flight diversions. No U.S. casualties were reported, though the IRGC claimed retaliatory strikes for U.S. actions against Iranian assets on Qeshm Island.
