Thousands March in Nairobi Demanding End to Femicide Crisis
Thousands of Kenyans, organized by the End Femicide movement, marched through central Nairobi to demand the government declare a national crisis over rising gender-based violence. The demonstrators dressed in white, carried coffins, and gave the government a 40-day ultimatum to enact sweeping protections following the brutal murder of a gospel singer.
