IDF issues displacement orders for Tyre and Nabatieh
Following a collapsed ceasefire, the Israeli Defence Forces issued renewed displacement orders covering areas south of the Zahrani River, notably including the ancient city of Tyre and Nabatieh. This massive geographic expansion of military evacuation orders displaced tens of thousands of civilians, forcing them into packed collective shelters in Saida and northern regions. Applying IDMC’s city evacuation methodology, an estimated 80,000 new people were displaced by these specific orders.
