Russian Missile and Drone Barrage Kills Five and Injures Over 100 in Ukraine
Russian forces launched a massive aerial assault involving approximately 90 long-range missiles and 600 drones across Ukraine. The United Nations reported at least five deaths and more than 100 injuries, with the capital, Kyiv, bearing the brunt of the damage. Falling debris damaged diplomatic premises and UN agency compounds. UN Secretary-General António Guterres called for an immediate ceasefire, warning that the escalating conflict trajectory is unsustainable and risks spiraling out of control.
