US and UK Airstrikes Target Houthi Drone Facilities in Yemen
United States and United Kingdom forces conducted their fifth joint military operation against Houthi assets in Yemen on May 29, 2026. The strikes targeted two locations near the port of Hudaydah used for housing and storage of long-range drones, as well as command facilities in Ghulayfiqah. The operation aims to degrade Houthi capabilities used to disrupt international shipping in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden during the ongoing regional crisis.
