Hundreds of Families Forcibly Displaced from Eastern Deir al Balah
On May 13, hundreds of families (approximately 1,500 people) were forcibly displaced from areas in eastern Deir al Balah to other parts of the Gaza Strip. Displaced residents reported receiving automated calls from Israeli forces ordering them to evacuate, compounded by local Palestinian militia instructing residents to clear out.
