Tens of Thousands Clash with Riot Police in Belgrade Anti-Government Protests
Tens of thousands of protesters, largely mobilized by university students, rallied in central Belgrade against the authoritarian governance of President Aleksandar Vucic. While initially peaceful, violent clashes later erupted between demonstrators and riot police, who deployed pepper spray. Authorities detained 23 individuals.
