President Trump Rejects Iranian Peace Proposal via Pakistan Mediator
President Donald Trump officially rejected a peace proposal from Tehran on May 11, 2026, labeling the terms "unacceptable" and "garbage." The Iranian proposal, forwarded by Pakistan, demanded an immediate end to the U.S. naval blockade, the lifting of oil sanctions, and guarantees against further attacks. Trump’s refusal extends a 10-week conflict triggered by Operation Epic Fury, as Washington maintains pressure to secure broader concessions on Iran's nuclear infrastructure and regional influence.
