Russian Forces Breach Unilateral Ceasefire with Ground Assaults

Despite the Russian Ministry of Defense declaring a unilateral Victory Day ceasefire (May 8-10), Russian forces breached the halt in operations overnight. Ukrainian officials recorded over 140 strikes on frontline positions, more than 850 drone strikes, and 10 direct ground assaults by Russian infantry, primarily concentrated in the Sloviansk sector of the Donetsk region.
