Iran Submits 14-Point Peace Proposal to United States
Tehran presented a comprehensive 14-point peace proposal on May 3, 2026, seeking to end the two-month-old war with the U.S. and Israel. The roadmap calls for an immediate lifting of sanctions, U.S. naval withdrawal from regional waters, and the unfreezing of assets. While Iran has excluded nuclear negotiations from this specific draft, the U.S. response remains cautious, with President Trump reviewing the plan amid ongoing skepticism from Israeli leadership regarding Iran's long-term intentions.
