Armed Men Attack Displacement Site at Masisi School
On April 27, 2026, unidentified armed men attacked a local school functioning as a displacement site in the Masisi Health Zone. OCHA confirmed that the facility was sheltering at least 500 vulnerable individuals, all of whom were forced into secondary displacement overnight due to the extreme violence, looting, and loss of their remaining belongings.
